Alfred is a highly coveted prosthetic genius, following in the footsteps of his late father, Hans Lehneis. Hans was the professor and director of prosthetics and orthotics at NYU and a founder of The RUSK Institute of Rehab. Alfred being his protégé has adapted new technologies to the traditional development of prosthetics. Alfred was one of the first prosthetists in the US to use a microprocessor knee on a patient as well as the first to incorporate CAD into orthotic development.

Alex is a third generation practitioner to the Lehneis family legacy. With 17 years experience under his belt, Alex has proven to not only be great with pediatric cases but also a master craftsmen of fabrication in our fully equipped facility, constantly coming up with innovative ways to better the way devices are designed.
